Be careful:

  1. In the niqud: Do not mistake for words ptr N-t065 nor words ptr N-t148 having תֵּ for their first root consonant.

  2. In the hasar niqud:

    Do not mistake for every word consisting of three letters the first being ת.

Qal imperfective, two singular persons, of two types of verbs:

  1. Verbs פ"י and of some other that follow the path of these:

    1. 2nd person singular masculine:

      [Jer 45:5]you (male) will go thereתֵּלֶךְ־שָׁם / תלך
      [Gen 26:26]to goהָלַךְ
      [#]you (male) will dwellתֵּשֶׁב / תשב
      [Gen 13:12]to dwellיָשַׁב
    2. 3rd person singular feminine:

      [Rut 2:3](and) she will goוַ|תֵּלֶךְ / תלך
      [Gen 26:26]to goהָלַךְ
      [Rut 2:14](and) she will dwellוַ|תֵּשֶׁב / תשב
      [Gen 13:12]to dwellיָשַׁב
  2. Some verbs ל"י, mainly those that have א for their middle root consonant:

    1. 2nd person singular masculine:

      [Neh 9:9](and) you (male) will seeוַ|תֵּרֶא / תרא
      [Gen 31:42]to seeרָאָה
      [Job 4:5](and) you (male) will be wearyוַ|תֵּלֶא / תלא
      [#]to be wearyלָאָה
    2. 3rd person singular feminine:

      [Gen 3:6](and) she will seeוַ|תֵּרֶא / תרא
      [Gen 26:26]to seeרָאָה
      [#](and) she will be wearyוַ|תֵּלֶא / תלא
      [#]to be wearyלָאָה

      Often pattern P-d275 becomes ptr P-d276 whenever the word is followed by maqef.

  3. Verbs ע"ע

    1. 2nd person singular masculine:

      [#](and) you (male) will show hostilityוַ|תֵּצֶר / תצר
      [#]to show hostilityצָרַר
    2. 3rd person singular feminine:

      [Jdg 10:9](and) she will show hostilityוַ|תֵּצֶר / תצר
      [#]to show hostilityצָרַר
