Be very careful:

  1. In the niqud:

    1. If the first letter is תֹּ do not mistake for ptr P-d298

    2. If the first letter is שֹ the holam dot is not written, as in שֹבַע / שובע, satiety, fullness (Psa 16:11)

  2. In the hasar haniqud: Do not mistake for every word of four letters the second one being ו. Look, for instance, at P-d035, P-d036, P-d037 and so on. Or look at S-d0684, S-d0685, S-d0686, S-d0689 and so on.

  1. Several nouns, mainly masculine, either absolute or construct form. They are called segolate. Nearly always their middle or last consonant is guttural. Paroxytone.

    Noun כֹּהַל matches this pattern N-t129 and not ptr N-t128

    1. Absolute:
