Spanish patterns

In Spanish, pattern CAC (a Consonant + vowel A + a Consonant) ------- dar, mal, pan, sal, tan...

or pattern CACER (a Consonant + vowel A + a Consonant + ER) ----- hacer, nacer, pacer, saber, tañer, yacer...

or pattern COCAS (a Consonant + vowel O + a Consonant + AS ---- cosas, locas, tomas, sopas...

And so on.

As concerns pattern CAC,

-the word dar is a verb only.

-words mal, pan and sal are nouns (evil, bread, salt respectively). But mal is also an adverb (badly) and sal is also a verb (go out!)

-while tan is an adverb only.
