Knowing which syllable bears the stress within a given word

This feature is an interesting one mainly at earlier stages of the study of the language.

Let us suppose that we have under our eyes the word משמעה.

And the doubt arises about the good place for the word stress. Is it a paroxytone word: "mashma'ah"? Or is it an oxytone one: mashma'ah? (bold = stressed syllable).

Of course one could replay: This is an oxytone word.

But it is much more illustrative, much better to give the image of this noun pattern so that at viewing it things become quite clear.

Word הביאו, (you, males) cause to come!, bring! is to be read oxytone or paroxytone?

Viewing PIS-d074 is the answer: paroxytone.
