Pattern resulting from merging of the singular construct of some especial nouns that are built on stems N-d10 that have a guttural for their first root consonant + third person singular feminine suffix, often with possessive meaning:
[Jer 3:7] | her sister | אֲחוֹתָהּ / אחותה |
[2Sa 13:1] | sister | אָחוֹת |
[Gen 24:29] | brother | אָח |
Pattern resulting from the union of Qal Infinitive, construct, of verbs ל"י having a guttural for their first root consonant + third person singular feminine suffix:
This can be a nominal or a verbal construction.
Nominal construction: the suffix plays the part of the subject of the action:
[Jer 3:7] | the fact or act of her to make, of her to do | עֲשֹוֹתָהּ / עשותה |
[Gen 3:1] | to make | עָשָֹה |
Verbal construction: the suffix plays the part of the object of the action:
[#] | to make her, to do her | עֲשֹוֹתָהּ / עשותה |
[Gen 3:1] | to make, to do | עָשָֹה |
