This can be a nominal or a verbal construction.
Nominal construction: the suffix plays the part of the subject of the action:
[Jer 3:7] the fact or act of her to make, of her to do עֲשֹוֹתָהּ / עשותה [Gen 3:1] to make עָשָֹה Verbal construction: the suffix plays the part of the object of the action:
