Hiph'il imperfect, two persons singular, of most verbs that have a guttural for their first and at a time have no guttural (א excepted) for their last root consonant.
2nd person singular masculine:
| [Deu 24:4] | you (male) will cause to sin | תַּחֲטִיא / תחטיא |
| [Exo 32:31] | to sin | חָטָא |
| [Deu 7:2] | you (male) will cause to exterminate | תַּחֲרִים / תחרים |
| [#] | to exterminate | חָרַם |
| [#] | you (male) will cause to eat | תַּאֲכִיל / תאכיל |
| [1Sa 30:12] | to eat | אָכַל |
3rd person singular feminine:
| [Job 29:20] | she will cause to pass | תַּחֲלִיף / תחליף |
| [Sol 2:11] | to pass over | חָלַף |
| [#] | she will cause to eat | תַּאֲכִיל / תאכיל |
| [1Sa 30:12] | to eat | אָכַל |
Modern Hebrew often takes this pattern for masculine nouns. These are widely used.
| [#] | process | תַּהֲלִיךְ / תהליך |
| [Gen 26:26] | to walk | הָלַךְ |
| [#] | transcription | תַּעֲתִיק / תעתיק |
| [#] | to move, proceed, advance | עָתַק |
